Mountain View Beer Walk and Tied House 25th Anniversary Celebration

Our sister brewery, Tied House, is celebrating their 25th Anniversary by collaborating with Jack’s Bar for a celebratory Beer Walk. Tied House is inviting everyone into their neighborhood for a fun afternoon where guests can sample local and regional breweries and leisurely check out local shops in this great little community. Chamber of Commerce Mountain View will kick off the festivities with a celebratory ribbon cutting.

Tied House is Silicon Valley’s oldest brewery. It poured its first pint in January, 1988. Here’s how it looked then:

When HBC opened in 2009, we brought Tied House San Jose’s 25 barrel tanks and brewing system with us. Even our brewing team, Peter Licht and Greg Filippi, came from Tied House San Jose. As Tied House marks this great milestone, we are happy to join them for Beer Walk to wish them a happy 25th anniversary.

Besides us, around 20 of our good friends from local and regional breweries will be out sharing their craft, having fun, and also supporting two great causes. Proceeds from this Beer Walk will benefit the Bay Brewers Guild and SOAR Scholarships (a part of the Mountain View Educational Foundation).

Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Many thanks to Jack’s team member Charlie Mann for putting on this fantastic event, our Community and Media Relations Manager Trinidad Pena for pounding the pavement and galvanizing the neighborhood’s support, and to Manuel Martinez, Membership Resource Manager at Chamber of Commerce Mountain View for being our biggest cheerleader (in a really manly way, of course, Mannie). Thanks also, to all of you for coming out!

Here’s our blog post earlier this year about the SJ Japantown Beer Walk.
